Chests left in the false vault beneath the casino that are in place to deal with any would-be thieves, whether they be staff or guests of the casino. After several chests were taken by ex-staff in early days, Skilet saw it prudent to ensure all casinos had at least three of these creatures throughout their coffers. The staff know they’re there, but only the finance and security managers keep track of which chests are real and which are mimics, and they’re always changing.

Common among dungeons, less common among banks and casinos. But that doesn’t mean that the Rossa Cartel hasn’t gone out their way to acquire and breed these creatures from various corners and dark dwellings across Tharador to act as one of the last lines of defense in their vaults across the continent. Those in the casinos are hidden among the real chests in their vaults, where they are moved regularly to ensure no one, including the staff are able to track them.

The only ones who know the location of these creatures in their vaults is the financial and security managers of each respective branch within the casino. Though most staff are aware that they do exist, with some of the catering staff having to bring live chickens, goats and other livestock into the vaults to keep the mimics fed, because they very seldom get to actually taste the flesh of any would-be thieves.

Please keep in mind that 32mm and 75mm are scales, not actual size. Base size may be a good indecator of how large a model will be.
