The matriarch of the Cult of the Coiled Serpent. All who are embroiled in the cult are done so by her charm and beauty. Those who oppose her often become her meal, as do those who show gross incompetence. Feeling cornered and with little else to hide beneath in Edrador, Lian She made the decision to relocate with her followers to Tharador’s South, where the populace was ignorant to the methods of her people.

Lian She, often called the Medusa of the East, is the enigmatic and deadly leader of the Cult of the Coiled Serpent. To the untrained eye, she exudes an exotic beauty and charm, her presence alluring enough to draw even the most cautious into her grasp. But this façade masks a far more sinister nature. Lian She is not merely a leader; she is a predator, a naga-like creature whose true form is as venomous and ruthless as the cult she puppeteers. Her beauty is an illusion, a tool crafted from ancient, dark magic to ensnare those around her. She sings with a voice that promises love and delivers death, weaving songs that lure suitors and lovers to their doom. Those who fall for her charms find themselves entangled not in the arms of a lover, but in the grip of a monster, ready to consume them wholly. Her court is one of twisted admiration, where her followers vie for her favour, and her enemies, or those who disappoint her, quickly become her next meal.

Though her ways of deceit could not remain unveiled forever: Lian She found herself increasingly cornered by rival factions and those wise to her manipulations. Sensing the growing threat against her, she orchestrated a strategic retreat, relocating her cult far across the sea, to more naive lands in Tharador’s South. Here, amidst a populace unaccustomed to the dark intricacies of her kind, Lian She plans to root her influence deeper than ever. Here she aims to expand her reach, using the same charms and illusions that served her well in Edrador. Her new base of operations has become a den of serpentine deceit, where she can continue her practices with little fear of the consequences faced in her former home. Her every move henceforth is made with meticulous calculation; she aims not only to survive in this new land, but to flourish, weaving a web of influence that she hopes will be too intricate and entrenched for any force to unravel.

Lian She remains a figure of terrifying beauty and power, her motives cloaked in layers of allure and danger. For her, Tharador is not just a refuge: it is the next land to conquer, a fresh ground where the Cult of the Coiled Serpent can thrive unchecked. Though in all her calculations she did not anticipate that the Unseen Wardens would find her here, nor travel across the Tharadori Sea in a bid to continue their hunt for her and her followers. Now it is a game of cat and mouse between her cultists and the Wardens, though Lian She is the serpent sitting by the side, poised to strike at whichever creature wins, for she believes after this her cult may need to be completely devoured, and remade from the ground up after all their failures of the last century.
